LONG-TERM DISABILITY

If you are struggling at work due to an injury or illness, you are currently out of work and considering an application for benefits, or you have already applied and were denied short or long-term disability benefits, we encourage you to consult an attorney.  There are many rules involved with long-term disability plans and it is important to know where you stand.

To apply for short or long term disability benefits, you need to file a claim for benefits with either your insurance company or employer if they are administering the disability plan.  If your claim is denied, you can file an appeal, and submit additional evidence to prove that you are disabled according to the terms of the disability policy.

We handle long-term disability matters from the initial application, through the administrative appeal process and in federal court.  Consultations are free, and if you hire an attorney no fee is paid unless you are awarded disability benefits.
